Spanish

Not all drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers have the staff or wherewithal to cater to the requirements of Spanish speaking clientele, but fortunately there are more and more facilities that will do so because the need for Spanish services is higher than previously. Counselling, study info and stuff like that are now frequently available in Spanish in both long and short terms programs which provide inpatient or residential rehabilitation and outpatient Spanish rehabilitation is available too nationwide.

Self Payment

Self Payment is required when a person's insurance won't cover the entire cost of rehabilitation or will only cover part of it. In these instances, it may appear like a drawback but individuals in fact have a great deal of leverage due to the fact they can choose whichever program they want without the limitations from health insurers that so many men and women encounter. In addition, rehab facilities will usually offer payment assistance for people whose only choice is self payment to enable them to get into rehabilitation.

Medicaid

Certain rehab programs accept Medicaid in the event the individual cannot self pay or present any other kind of private medical health insurance. Medicaid might cover outpatient and short-term rehabilitation within a limited amount of centers, and in cases like this individuals may want to investigate the self pay option and come up with up any resources they can to fund a more quality rehabilitation program that will get better results, such as a long-term residential drug treatment facility.

State Financed Insurance (Other Than Medicaid)

State financed insurance other than Medicaid can be used to cover the costs of alcohol and drug treatment if other forms of insurance or self payment are not an option. If a person doesn't have private insurance and doesn't yet know whether they may qualify for state insurance, they can consult their Social Services office in their area to ascertain if they are and then fill out an application. Most state financed insurance covers both outpatient and inpatient treatment, but typically only within the state which provides the insurance.

Private Health Insurance

Depending on which plan you are covered by, all private health care insurance plans typically cover some sort of drug and alcohol rehab service which range from outpatient rehabilitation to inpatient or residential alcohol and drug treatment centers. Individuals might have to participate in a drug rehab center which is in their network of providers and there could be other limitations for example the length of time their stay in rehab is covered. Individuals can choose a quality center they like and speak with a rehabilitation specialist to ascertain if their insurance will take care of it.
