Halfway House

A halfway house is a location which allows for a smooth transition if somebody is newly sober on their own or has finished an alcohol and drug rehab center and requires help re-acclimating into a regular lifestyle. Living in a halfway house, or sober living facility as it is sometimes called, an aspect of sentencing if a person is found guilty of drug charges also.
