Hospital Inpatient

Hospital inpatient services are accessible to anyone who should be safely managed through detox services when heavily dependent to alcohol and drugs, or who needs a broader spectrum of care such as someone who is dealing with a dual diagnosis and also requires mental health services as part of their rehab process. You'll find both short-term and long-term hospital inpatient services accessible.

ASL or Other Assistance for Hearing Impaired

The hearing impaired can often be prone to alcoholism and substance abuse because of the problems that their impairment impose on them. While discovery of this problem is often hard among the hearing impaired, there are ASL along with other assistance services designed for them when substance abuse rehabilitation is necessary. Apart from ASL, such services may include assistive listening tools and captioned video materials so that deaf and hearing impaired people are getting the help they need in drug and alcohol treatment.

Spanish

Not all drug rehabilitation programs have the staff or resources to cater to the demands of Spanish speaking clients, but thankfully there are more and more centers that will do so because the need for Spanish services is higher than ever before. Therapy, study data and so on are now very often accessible in Spanish in both short and long terms facilities which provide inpatient or residential rehabilitation and outpatient Spanish rehab is available too around the country.

Self Payment

Self Payment is needed when a person's insurance isn't going to cover the entire cost of rehabilitation or will only pay for some of it. In these situations, it may seem like a disadvantage but people really have a great deal of leverage simply because they can choose whichever facility they would like without the restrictions from health insurance providers that so many individuals encounter. Likewise, rehabilitation facilities will usually offer payment assistance for individuals whose only choice is self payment to help them get into treatment.

Medicaid

Certain rehab programs accept Medicaid in the event the individual is not able to self pay or present some other form of private medical health insurance. Medicaid may only pay for outpatient and short-term rehab within a limited amount of facilities, and in this instance individuals may choose to investigate the self pay option and drum up any resources they're able to to pay for a more quality rehab center which will get better results, say for example a long-term residential drug rehab center.

State Financed Insurance (Other Than Medicaid)

State financed insurance other than Medicaid may be used to cover the costs of drug treatment if other kinds of insurance or self payment are not a choice. If someone doesn't have any private insurance and doesn't yet know whether they might be eligible for state insurance, they can check with their Social Services office within their area to determine if they are and then apply. The majority of state financed insurance will handle both outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation, but usually only within the state which offers the insurance coverage.

Private Health Insurance

Depending on which plan you are covered by, all private medical health insurance plans generally cover some type of drug and alcohol treatment service including outpatient rehab to inpatient or residential drug and alcohol rehab programs. Individuals might have to take part in a drug and alcohol rehab center that is within their network of providers and there could be other restrictions for example the amount of time their stay in rehabilitation is covered. Individuals can pick a good center they like and consult with a rehab counselor to find out if their insurance covers it.

Military Insurance (E.G., Va, Tricare)

Military insurance which includes VA and Tricare does cover the expenses of certain drug abuse rehab services. Detox services, outpatient and inpatient programs and also partial hospitalization are all paid for by military insurance, although military members may require pre-authorization in which case they can speak with their VA or Tricare representative. There may be some restrictions as to how much time a stay in inpatient drug and alcohol rehab is permitted, and all of these questions can be answered before you begin treatment so that it is clear how much time and individual can stay in the rehabilitation program of preference.
