Hospital Inpatient

Hospital inpatient services are available to anyone that should be safely managed through detox services when heavily addicted to drugs and/or alcohol, or who requires a broader spectrum of care such as someone who is dealing with a dual diagnosis and also needs mental health services as part of their rehab process. You'll find both short-term and long-term hospital inpatient services offered.

Outpatient

Outpatient solutions are on the low end of the spectrum of rehab services in terms of intensity of care, since the individual is able to keep their lifestyle in many ways with no commitment of having to remain in a rehab center while receiving rehab services. Even if this might seem perfect it may not provide the much needed change of environment than many people in treatment have to have to experience a productive rehabilitation.

ASL or Other Assistance for Hearing Impaired

The hearing impaired can often be prone to alcoholism and substance abuse due to the challenges that their impairment impose on them. While detection of the problem is often hard among the hearing impaired, you can find ASL as well as other assistance services available for them when drug abuse rehab is necessary. Besides ASL, such services can sometimes include assistive listening tools and captioned video resources so that deaf and hearing impaired folks are getting the help they require in drug rehabilitation.

Medicaid

Certain rehab facilities will take Medicaid when the individual cannot self pay or present another form of private medical health insurance. Medicaid might pay for outpatient and short-term rehabilitation within a limited amount of programs, and in cases like this individuals may wish to investigate the self pay option and come up with up any resources they can to fund a more quality rehab center that will get better results, say for example a long-term residential alcohol and drug rehab center.

Medicare

Medicare recipients can seek rehab at alcohol and drug rehab centers which provide either inpatient or outpatient rehab when the program is in the network of Medicare-participating providers and with the consent of their Medicare appointed doctor, who must help in establishing the individual's treatment strategy. Inpatient solutions are provided through Medicare Medicare Part A, with up front costs being the same as any other type of hospital stay, and outpatient rehab being paid for through Medicare Medicare Part B.

State Financed Insurance (Other Than Medicaid)

State financed insurance other than Medicaid may be used to cover the costs of drug rehab if other forms of insurance or self payment are not an option. When someone has no private insurance and doesn't yet know if they could be eligible for state insurance, they can check with their Social Services office in their area to figure out if they are and then apply. Most state financed insurance will handle both outpatient and inpatient rehab, but typically only within the state which provides the insurance plan.

Private Health Insurance

Depending on which program you are covered by, all private health care insurance plans generally cover some form of drug treatment service ranging from outpatient rehab to inpatient or residential drug and alcohol rehab programs. Individuals may have to take part in an alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility that's in their network of providers and there can be other restrictions like the amount of time their stay in rehab is covered. Individuals can choose an excellent center they like and consult with a treatment counselor to determine if their insurance will take care of it.
