Hospital Inpatient

Hospital inpatient services are accessible to anybody that should be safely managed through detoxification services when heavily addicted to drugs, or who wants a better spectrum of care such as somebody who is dealing with a dual diagnosis so also requires mental health solutions as part of their rehab process. You can find both short-term and long-term hospital inpatient services offered.

ASL or Other Assistance for Hearing Impaired

The hearing impaired are often predisposed to alcoholism and substance abuse due to problems their impairment impose on them. While discovery of this problem is often hard among the hearing impaired, there are ASL along with other assistance services intended for them when drug abuse rehabilitation is required. Apart from ASL, such services can include assistive listening tools and captioned video resources so that deaf and hearing impaired people are receiving the help they require in drug and alcohol treatment.

Medicaid

Certain treatment programs will take Medicaid if the individual cannot self pay or present another type of private medical health insurance. Medicaid may only pay for outpatient and short-term treatment inside a limited amount of facilities, and in cases like this individuals may choose to investigate the self pay option and drum up any resources they are able to to cover a more quality rehab center that will get better results, like a long-term residential drug and alcohol rehab facility.

Medicare

Medicare recipients can seek treatment at drug rehab programs which deliver either inpatient or outpatient rehab when the center is included in the network of Medicare-participating providers and with the authorization of their Medicare appointed physician, who must aid in establishing the person's treatment plan. Inpatient solutions are covered through Medicare Medicare Part A, with up front costs being exactly like any other kind of hospital stay, and outpatient rehab being paid for through Medicare Medicare Part B.

State Financed Insurance (Other Than Medicaid)

State financed insurance other than Medicaid may be used to cover the costs of drug and alcohol rehabilitation if other kinds of insurance or self payment aren't an option. If a person has no private insurance and doesn't yet know if they might be eligible for state insurance, they should seek advice from their Social Services office in their area to ascertain if they are and then apply. The majority of state financed insurance will handle both outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation, but usually only within the state which offers the insurance coverage.

Private Health Insurance

Depending on which program you are covered by, all private health care insurance plans generally cover some kind of drug and alcohol rehab service ranging from outpatient treatment to inpatient or residential drug and alcohol rehab facilities. Individuals may have to participate in an alcohol and drug rehab center that is in their network of providers and there can be other restrictions like the length of time their stay in treatment is covered. Individuals can select a quality facility they prefer and meet with a rehabilitation specialist to determine if their insurance will handle it.
