Outpatient

Outpatient solutions are on the low end of the spectrum of treatment solutions in terms of intensity of care, as the individual will be able to keep their lifestyle in lots of ways without the commitment of having to stay in a treatment program while receiving treatment services. While this may seem perfect it may not provide the much needed change of atmosphere than many people in rehab need to experience a productive rehab.

Spanish

Not all drug rehab centers possess the staff or resources to cater to the requirements of Spanish speaking clients, but luckily there are more and more facilities that can do so because the need for Spanish services is higher than in the past. Counselling, study data and stuff like that are now frequently available in Spanish in both short and long terms centers which provide inpatient or residential rehabilitation and outpatient Spanish rehabilitation is also available nationwide.

Self Payment

Self Payment is needed when someone's insurance won't cover the entire cost of rehabilitation or will only pay for some of it. In these cases, it may appear like a drawback but people really have a great deal of leverage because they can select whichever center they would like without the restrictions from health insurance providers that so many individuals face. In addition, rehabilitation facilities will usually offer payment assistance for individuals whose only option is self payment to enable them to get into treatment.

Medicaid

Some rehabilitation programs accept Medicaid in the event the individual cannot self pay or present another type of private health care insurance. Medicaid might pay for outpatient and short-term treatment in a limited amount of programs, and in this case individuals may wish to explore the self pay alternative and drum up any resources they're able to to fund a more quality rehab facility that will get better results, such as a long-term residential drug treatment facility.

Medicare

Medicare recipients can seek treatment at drug rehabilitation facilities which provide either inpatient or outpatient rehab when the facility is included in the network of Medicare-participating providers and with the consent of their Medicare appointed physician, who must help in setting up the person's treatment strategy. Inpatient services are covered through Medicare Part A, with out of pocket costs being the same as any other kind of hospital stay, and outpatient rehab being paid for through Medicare Medicare Part B.

State Financed Insurance (Other Than Medicaid)

State financed insurance other than Medicaid may be used to cover the expense of alcohol and drug treatment if other forms of insurance or self payment are not a possibility. If a person doesn't have any private insurance and doesn't yet know whether they may qualify for state insurance, they should seek advice from their Social Services office within their area to ascertain if they are and then fill out an application. Most state financed insurance will handle both outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation, but generally only within the state which offers the insurance coverage.

Private Health Insurance

Depending on which program you are covered by, all private medical health insurance plans generally cover some type of drug rehab service which range from outpatient rehabilitation to inpatient or residential drug treatment facilities. Individuals may have to participate in a drug and alcohol rehab facility that's within their network of providers and there might be other limitations including the amount of time their stay in rehab is covered. Individuals can select a good facility they like and meet with a rehabilitation specialist to ascertain if their insurance will handle it.

Military Insurance (E.G., Va, Tricare)

Military insurance such as VA and Tricare does cover the price of particular drug abuse rehab solutions. Detoxification services, outpatient and inpatient programs along with partial hospitalization are all covered by military insurance, although military members may require pre-authorization in which case they can liaise with their VA or Tricare representative. There can be some limitations concerning the length of time a stay in inpatient alcohol and drug treatment is allowed, and all of these questions will be answered prior to starting rehabilitation so that it is clear how much time and individual can remain in the treatment program of preference.
